Located in the heart of South America, Paraguay is a subtropical country – a relatively small one compared to its neighbors Argentina and Brazil. However, Paraguay has become internationally known for its production of organic and Fair Trade sugars. The capital, Asuncion, is located right in the center of the Southern Common Market, Mercosur, which includes Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay, with close ties to Chile and Bolivia.
Our sugar cane fields and mill are located in the Arroyos y Esteros (Streams and Swamps) region of Paraguay.
